Victory Park is located in northern part of Tambov city. It was laid on Michurinskaya Street to the 50 anniversary of the Victory in Great Patriotic War. The main sight of the Victory Park is a large exhibition of military equipment which was in operational service with Russian army. One more sight of the Victory Park is the monument to the Veteran of Great Patriotic War fixed up to the 65 anniversary of the Victory. The monument poses a veteran sitting on a bench and holding a little girl in his arms. There is also Mig 19 warplane near the entrance to the Park. It fixed on a high stele. Victory Park is a favourite resting place of city residents and city visitors. The park becomes a venue of folk festivals in holidays.
